Taccia – Raden Ama-Iro Jiu
The Taccia Raden Ama-Iro features a technique that engraves a shell and embeds it into a lacquered base after polishing the iridescent shiny shell. It’s been said that “raden” is one of the most beautiful ways of coating on the surface.
“Ra” from “raden” means that the shell has a a spiral motif and “den” comes from the art of decorating by metal or shell.
“Ama-iro” is a composed word that means heaven and color. The beauty of a raden fountain pen contemplates the beauty of the sky as “sky” and “ama” have the same meaning.
All fountain pens in the Raden Ama-Iro are made of ebonite, come with a chrome-plated clip and are fitted with 14k Gold nibs.
The Raden Ama-Iro collection contains three different fountain pens: Haurakane, Hekiku, and Jiu.
