Introducing the Dodici – Midnight fountain pen in a Primary Manipulation resin crafted exclusively for us by the renowned J. Brooks. Created by Leonardo Officina Italiana, Midnight presents the twelve facets that will define the new Dodici model. This faceted design enhances the elegance of your writing instrument, also being complemented by the ink window so the opaque materials do not hinder your view of the ink level in the Dodici.
The name of the model “Dodici” it translates to “twelve” in Italian, representing each of the twelve faces of this unique fountain pen. The pen’s design is a testament to meticulous craftsmanship, with each facet reflecting the skill and artistry involved in its creation, polished by hand each of the twelve facets captures the light and shines each time you get to turn the pen. The unique factor of the Primary Manipulation material makes up each of the 73 pens individual featuring a randomly dispersion of silver and purple.Â
We chose the name “Midnight” for this exclusive edition as it captures the essence of a deep midnight sky at “Dodici” O’clock. Much like the cosmic lights that dance in the vastness of the universe, the Midnight Fountain Pen plays with depth and hues to create a spectacular visual experience. Limited to just 73 pieces, each Dodici Midnight Fountain Pen is a collector’s item, promising exclusivity and sophistication just like any other Pen Venture exclusive collection. Dodici features a in house made piston filling mechanism with its frame made from aluminium, detachable with the Leonardo piston tool.
Our Dodici – Midnight exclusive edition is showcasing two choices for the writing end : La Fenice 14k Gold #8 (presented in the pictures) and La Fenice 14k Gold #6 (not in the pictures). For size 8 nibs available are : Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad and Stub 1.1mm – for size 6 nibs available are : Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Double Broad, Stub 1.1mm/1.4mm and two Elastic options (not La Fenice but laser engraved), both nib options are using in house made ebonite feeders as well.
