Aurora – Dante Purgatorio (LTD)
Marking 700 years since Dante Alighieri, the most influential medieval writer, is no longer with us, Aurora created a homage collection of 3 writing instruments : Dante Inferno  – Dante Purgatory – Dante Paradise. Divina Comedia, one of the greatest works of medieval poetry of Dante, served inspiration for the Aurora collection. Crafted from blue resin and featuring silver color accents – Purgatorio is elegant, discrete, speaking of the soul cleansing Purgatory. A slim turquoise resin ring divides the barrel from the end knob, this is a unique feature of only this collection, different colors for each of the 3 pens.
Trim elements are engraved with a leaf motif, cap finial features a portrait engraving of Dante Alighieri. Proudly made in Italy, the fountain pen comes with “Italy” engraved on the edge of the cap finial and the “Italian Tricolore” flag in enamel – located on the barrel ring.
Aurora equipped Dante Purgatorio fountain pen with a in house made 18k Gold – Rhodium plated to match the Rhodium plated accents of the fountain pen, friction fitted together with the ebonite feeder. Section features a small and elegant ink window. A very smooth and ingenious piston filling mechanism, offers the user a drop of ink in case of need, this is an unique feature of Aurora only.
