Gravitas – Dinkey is a combination of its pocket-sized form scaled down to that of a quark. Refined and practical – the Dinkey consists in the sum of lessons learned throughout the years from previous models of Gravitas and brings out the very best in design, choice of materials and craftsmanship.
The fountain pen is small, portable, and handy, placing emphasis on the material from which it is made. It showcases a unique range of materials that, up until now, have not been offered in the Gravitas lineup. The Aluminium-Bronze alloy used for the Dinkey is a special alloy highly ductile, highly termo conductive used primarily energy equipment, aeronautica and nautical industries for valves, high strength bushings, gears, cams, propeller blades and shafts – its color leans more to gold than the Cupronickel which steals towards silver.
The Dinkey inner cap comes lined with Delrin in order to prevent scratches from posting, the section is made from cupronickel alloy as well, sporting an o-ring at the threading point with the barrel and the section is threaded in order to be compatible with a Jowo size #6 nib unit. The writing point of the Dinkey is a Gravitas steel nib, available in extra fine, fine, medium, and broad and elastic fine options, powered by a generic plastic feeder.
