The 1670 Inks Collection was launched in 2010 to commemorate Jacques Herbin’s 340th anniversary and the founding of the company in Paris.
The 1670 Inks Collection features 7 unique shades with gold shimmer, made from vegan, plant-based dyes.
Bleu Océan, the second color in this series, is a deep blue with golden reflections, reminiscent of Jacques Herbin’s sea voyages. The fine gold particles evoke lightning over the water and the dark, mysterious ocean depths.
Each bottle has a hand-applied wax seal on the cap and front, made in France.
Due to the shimmer particles, ink flow may be limited in some pens. Shake well before use, roll the pen frequently, and clean your pen after use to maintain ink flow and prevent clogging.
