Herbin – Les encres 1798 – Amethiste de l’Oural 50ml Fountain Pen Ink
The 1798 Inks Collection honors the start of Jacques Herbin ink production, a key event for the company founded in 1670. After the French Revolution ended in 1798, Herbin expanded its production in Paris with a new ink line.
Featuring richly colored, vegan inks with silver metallic particles, the collection includes “Amethyste De L’Oural,” a deep violet ink with a shimmering effect inspired by the regal amethyst gemstone.
Each bottle has a hand-dipped wax cap, an embossed “1798” seal, and comes in a collector’s edition box.
Due to the shimmer particles, ink flow may be limited in some pens. Shake well before use, roll the pen frequently, and clean your pen after use to prevent clogging.
