Lamy 2000 is the flagship model of the Lamy brand. Made from a satin black fiber glass material (Makrolon) and brush stainless steel accents. Designed by Gerd Alfred Müller and introduced in 1966, over half a century later Lamy 2000 kept its unique look and functionality becoming one of the most known models of the Lamy brand.
Lamy 2000Â comes equipped with a 14k gold hooded nib and a piston filling mechanism. You can pick in between the following nib sizes : Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad.

Lamy 2000 can only be used with bottled ink. To ensure the best quality and performance Lamy tests their writing instruments as a final step of the manufacturing process – if you see any residual ink, this is normal and it is an outcome of the testing process.
