Montegrappa – Zero Chrysocolla Pen Venture Exclusive (LTD)
We are proud to showcase our 2nd Exclusive project of 2022 – the Montegrappa Zero Chrysocolla. Zero is one of the more contemporary models of the Italian manufacturer Montegrappa. Inspired by the vintage proportions of fountain pens, Zero features a minimalist streamline body that flows without changing its diameter.
For the Pen Venture exclusive Zero we wanted to have it made out of Montegrappite, the proprietary resin designed from sustainable sources with a local producer by Montegrappa. Countless colors can be obtained on order with this resin, but we opted for the beautiful Chrysocolla, a minty green that goes out with the Spring season launch.
The mesmerizing beauty of this Chrysocolla Montegrappite was complemented by the brushed aluminium look of the metal trim elements, on the crown finial in between the Montegrappa name of the clip and the Montegrappa logo that lays under the glass, sits our small Pen Venture laser engraved logo. This marks our limited edition of 30 fountain pens, of which numbers from 1 to 10 are equipped with a 14k Gold nib and number 11 to 30 are equipped with a steel nib.
Available nib sizes are : Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad and 1.1mm Stub – both in steel or 14k Gold. Nibs are friction fitted together with an ABS plastic feeder and the filling system of the Zero Chrysocolla is screw in cartridge converter that is provided with the fountain pen or standard international ink cartridge.
