Owl – Custom stacked steel nib unit by Monty Winfield
Introducing a variety of custom stacked nib units made by Jeremiah Hackett (AKA Monty Winfield) for Pen Venture. Owl is a bold option, consisting of triple stack nib, a normal nib in the middle and two extra nibs, one sitting on top and one sitting under, the tipping shaped similar to a cobra configuration, offering a broad line with architect characteristics in normal writing, varying the line as the angle gets closer to 90′ and in reverse its a fine/medium cursive italic. A great choice for a lover of broad / architect nibs – offering a practical more tamed medium cursive italic in reverse.
The Owl triple stacked nib is friction fitted along a ABS plastic feeder inside a titanium housing, fitting any generic JOWO steel nib unit fountain pens. From our inventory most pens from Leonardo Officina Italiana/Montegrappa and other brands are fitting this masterpiece of a nib.
