Whenever you think of Sailor, probably the first fountain pen that comes to mind is the 1911 model. Honoring the founding year, the 1911 series was launched in 1981 and quickly became the most famous range of the Sailor Brand.

If some appreciate that the 1911 series comes in a limited color collection in black, burgundy and white, with the new Ringless Metallic range, Sailor gives a modern spin to the classic 1911.

While the original model displays a very discreet elegance, the new edition is bold thanks to the pearlescent and metallic apperance.

The fountain pens are made of pearlescent PMMA resin and the nib and clip are plated with alloy.

Chose your favorite between the Simply Blue, Simply Red or Simply Gray – all of them featuring a 21k gold, alloy plated nib. 

To enhance the modern design of the new edition, Sailor opted for a ringless cap managing to present the new colors in a clear, fresh look that attracts the attention of any collector. 

Caution: The nib is alloy plated and you must only use Sailor ink for this pen to prevent damage to the nib plating.  Any damage caused to the nib by using another type of fountain pen ink will not be covered by Sailor‘s standard warranty.
