Sailor – Commemorative Rebuilding Hiroshima Factory | Limited Edition |
A commemorative fountain pen that marks the rebuilding of the Sailor Hiroshima Factory in Kure where the company was born, this writing instrument is made from threes that were more than 60 years old, that used to surround the factory site.
Clearing the cypress trees to make room for reconstructing the factory presented the opportunity to capture this event in a Limited Edition fountain pen of only 500 pieces world wide.Â
Based on the Professional Gear line of writing instruments from Sailor, equipped with a special laser engraved 21k gold nib, powered by a abs plastic feeder and cartridge converter, each fountain pen has an unique appearance due to the random position where the material originates in the wood rods.
