Taccia Hiroshige Envelope
Taccia released a stationery series as a tribute to the ukiyo-e woodblock prints.
Ukiyo-e is an artistic movement of Japan which flourished between the 17th and the 19th centuries. Woodblock prints and paintings were inspired by nature and the beauty of human form, the term translating to ”pictures of the floating world”.
Utamaro Kitagawa is best known for having created a new type of female beauty which is featuring delicate and elegant drawing lines, pursuing beauty in various forms and expressions.
