A limited edition inspired by one of the most memorable historical models – Skeleton, this new writing instrument brings the skeletonisation technique back to its original inspiration: the human skeleton. Visconti is known for some of the most elegant overlay techniques in the fountain pen industry, consisting in complex hollow cutouts made in precious materials that encompasses the outside of the pen barrel and the cap.Â
As if taken out from an X-ray the new Skeleton, is displaying a solid Sterling Silver 925 filigree of organic design that stands out, contrasting the blue color resin body, outlining the shape of the 12 pairs of ribs joined to the spine. A modern interpretation of the popular Visconti – Watermark series.
A tribute to Viscontis precious internal craftsmanship developed throughout the history of the brand established in 1988 in Florence – Italy, the Skeleton fountain pen is available as part of a limited edition of 388 pieces worldwide.
The generous ink capacity is available with the Visconti power filler double reservoir. Each Skeleton comes equipped with 18k Gold in house made nibs – available in a variety of nib sizes : Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad and Stub 1.3mm.
