Visconti brought us a new numbered edition of fountain pens that feature gold plated metalwork and a personalized nib with Van Gogh’s signature.
Inspired by the ”Novel Reader”, a work created by Vincent Van Gogh in November of 1888, the new fountain pen is presented in a special set that includes a dedicated ink as well.
The ”Novel Reader” is a work by Van Gogh that encases a special message, the yellow color of the book cover indicating that the woman is reading a modern novel, acceptable for men to read at that point, but inadmissible for a woman.
Made from acrylic resin, Visconti‘s fountain pen features the predominant colors of Van Gogh: green with purple and yellow veins. Featuring a magnetic lock, the fountain pen is equipped with a steel nib in Gold color, in fine, medium, and broad.
