Herbin – 350th Anniversary Bleu Myosotis 100ml Fountain Pen Ink
350 years ago, Maison Herbin began to make a name for itself in the Parisian stationery scene, with their collection of sealing wax and inks being used by important figures of the time, such as Louis XIV, Napoleon Bonaparte, and Victor Hugo.
To commemorate the founding of the Herbin brand in Paris in 1670, the company launched a special limited edition set consisting of the first writing inks created by Jacques Herbin.
A total of 5 different colors were released in this traditional design, in vintage collector’s glass bottles, with the original label and the waxed cap in the color of the ink. The wax seal creates a protective barrier against moisture and dust.
Perfectly preserved, Jacques Herbin ink retains its color and writing qualities for a long time. The ink is water-based, pH neutral, dries quickly, and is especially suitable for use in fountain pens.
The natural colorants used are specially selected to provide the richest color. The ink is filtered so as not to clog the pen.
Bleu Myosotis, which translates to “blue, forget-me-not,” was one of the first ink colors created by Herbin.
