In commemoration of the founding of the Herbin brand in Paris in 1670, the company introduced a special limited edition set, featuring the inaugural writing inks crafted by Jacques Herbin.
This exclusive set includes five distinct colors presented in a traditional design, housed in vintage collector glass with original labeling and wax-sealed caps matching the ink hues. The wax seal not only adds charm but also provides protection against moisture and dust, ensuring the longevity of Jacques Herbin’s renowned ink quality and color vibrancy.
Formulated with a water-based, pH-neutral composition, these inks offer quick-drying properties ideal for fountain pen use. Carefully selected natural colorants guarantee rich and vivid hues without clogging the pen.
Among the colors, “Bleu Myosotis” pays homage to the forget-me-not flower, while “Rouge Caroubier” draws inspiration from the therapeutic carob tree. “Black Pearl,” an original release from the Jacques Herbin brand, offers a deep and warm shade to elevate your writing experience. “Violette pensée” reflects the floral inspiration of its namesake, traditionally favored by French students for its affordability and made from methyl violet, known for wound disinfection.
