Taccia Hiroshige Greeting Card – Asahanada
Taccia released a stationery series as a tribute to the ukiyo-e woodblock prints.
Featuring beautiful art images, the Taccia Ukiyo-e A6 greeting card is a double folded A5* and has an extra note sheet* inside. The complimentary envelope is white on the front to allow address writing and has the same print as the greeting card on the back.
Ukiyo-e is an artistic movement of Japan which flourished between the 17th and the 19th centuries. Woodblock prints and paintings were inspired by nature and the beauty of human form, the term translating to ”pictures of the floating world”.
The Hiroshige collection is a tribute to Utagawa Hiroshige’s art, famous the bold composition of its art and also the blue color, especially the beauty of ”indigo”.
